Ariana Leon
Prekindergarten
My name is Ariana Leon. It is a pleasure and blessing to be your child's Pre-K Teacher. I'm very excited to start my first year teaching at San Angelo Christian Academy. Having God as my guide in life has given me the gift of knowledge to all different ages both in the community and church. I was a Bible school teacher for a period of three months at 16thStreet Church of Christ last year (2007). In 2008, Spring semester I had the privilege to be the Pre-K Teacher's Aide and discovered and accepted the purpose God has for me: to teach His beloved children. I'm glad to have joined this school, not only as an employee, but as a member of a Christian family. I'm a parent of two children that attend San Angelo Christian Academy (Pre-K and 3rd Grade).

Kindergarten
I am blessed to be a part of the family at San Angelo Christian Academy! It is exciting to be able to use my 12 years of teaching experience with San Angelo ISD to lay a strong academic foundation for young children and at the same time incorporate core Biblical principles. My heart's desire is to provide a positive learning environment for young children while teaching about God's love through my Christian example, music, and Bible stories.
My two children attend SACA and look forward to coming to school every day.

2nd Grade
Hello and welcome to San Angelo Christian Academy. This is my third year to teach here at the Academy. My first two years were in 1st grade and this year 2nd grade. I also taught three years in public school - two years in 7th/8th grade math and one year 1st/2nd grade multi-age. I love teaching children. I pray I can do the job God has blessed me with and that He will shine by my actions.

Darlene Farmer
3rd Grade Homeroom and Language Arts
I cannot remember a time when I did not want to be a teacher. I married right out of high school and started my family. My husband and I have two daughters. When they both completed college, I decided to go back to school and get my degree. I taught in public schools for 10 years and retired this year. I love children and teaching. I feel so blessed to be able to teach at SACA. I hope to instill in my students a love for God and a love for learning.

5th/6th Grade Homeroom and Science
Teaching at a Christian school has been a goal of mine all of my 20+ years of teaching. As an educator, I am continually attending workshops and training sessions in the science field. I want to be able to give to our students the best learning experiences in the most “hands-on” way possible. I want to inspire curiosity, wonder, and the appreciation of God's creation. Please join us for a fun-filled learning environment.

7th Grade Homeroom and Math
I am so excited to be teaching mathematics this year to the 3rd-7th graders. We have a wonderfull new curriculum that will build a strong mathematics foundation and problemsolving strategies that will help them throughout their lives. I hope they will learn to love math and not be intimidated by it.
Another change this year is our departmentalization. I think it is benefitting our students greatly for each teacher to specialize in their subject. I think our students are learning more than they ever have. You will see the results!

Bible/Spanish
It is a dream come true to be able to teach the Bible all day, every day. Even in my Spanish class we learn Bible verses and key concepts - in Spanish! What a blessing it is to be teaching in a school where God can be glorified and taught. I taught 2nd Grade for 4 years in public school and have been at SACA for 4 years as well. I believe the children will be a blessing to me as I hope to be to them.

After School Care
Hi there. My name is Ms. Crystal. I am the after school care coordinator. We have so much fun in 'Crystal Care'. The children play at centers, have computer time, read books, sing, play outside, have nature walks, and work on crafts. I watch all current grades at San Angelo Christian Academy. The hours are from 2:15 to 5:30 Monday through Friday. I also watch drop-ins when you are not able to pick them up due to appointments, meetings, etc. Come find me at school if you have any questions about the after school care program.
